Disbelief Can Be Rather Expensive

Of course the generic brand was wrong so I purchased the EPTs, which cost two times as much, to tell me the same thing . . . twice.
For over a year, we chucked birth control and planned on being pregnant. When it didn't happen, I had lab work done, and it all looked great. So we chalked it up to "God must have something else planned for us" and came to accept that three was going to be it. In fact, we spent time at Disney commenting on how lucky we were to be out of the diapers, must have a nap, do we have something the baby can eat, stage. "Isn't it great that everyone can walk?" was one of my frequent comments as we saw parents holding tired children as they waited in the endless lines. Three was the perfect number.
Ahhhhh yes. Just when you think you have it all figured out, life happens!

Well Amy and Dave you really surprised Nannie and Papa this time! You are a beautiful family and we just can't wait to meet this new Bashaw. We of course think four babies are wonderful and we pray for another beautiful, healthy baby. We were thinking it would be fun if you had a girl for Anna to play with but really who cares? You make darling little boys. It is going to be a delight to watch the kids with this new addition. We had people ask us if we were Mormans when we told them we were having Betsy. Like Lutherans don't have four?
Just let the remarks roll off and embrace this blessing. We love you.

Aaaaaahhhhhhh! Boy have I been out of touch for a while!!!!! Congratulations! And I think 4 is a wonderful number! Enjoy the "none-in-diapers, all-of-them-can-walk" stage, and then look forward to that precious newborn! (And yes, some folks just feel it necessary to voice their opinions about larger families - sigh!)

God Bless and Lots of Cyber Hugs

BTW...you asked when Chad's deploying...I'll post about it but it's late spring (practicing OPSEC and not saying exactly when). But it's not too far away and he'll be gone for 15 months.
