It's frustrating when there is a tiny blurp about a bombing in Baghdad, but nothing more is said.
"Three were killed today when a suicide bomber exploded in a market place".

Doesn't mean much for most, but could mean the world to me.

Are you OK?

All I can find is news on the OctoMom and the Oscars. The "important" things.

What a crazy world we live in.

I have two students whose husbands are in Iraq now too (both have children) and I think of all three of you each and every time I hear that on the news.

You'll be in our prayers.

Don't forget the chimp. I so wish they would shut up about that already.

I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult the news stories must be for you. I'll keep your family in my thoughts.

Quit watching the stupid news, now woman!!! Learned that after our Kuwait deployment in 2001. Chad was in Kuwait then. I was constantly going crazy then.

Thank you for praying for my friends little baby.

The news is our worst enemy during deployments. I truly avoid all things war related when Chad's deployed. You're right this is exactly where Faith comes into play. Remember too, Baghdad's a big place. I'm guessing that's where yours is, so is mine. I know as long as there's no knock at my door, we're good.

I remind myself too, that no matter what I KNOW where Chad will end up...either back home in my arms or in Jesus's arms...either place is pretty good! I'd prefer mine of course!
