The Biltmore

The Biltmore in the fall is great. The house itself is of little interest to young kids, but the Harvest Festival is great. They have storytelling, games for kids, blacksmith demonstrations, and an animal area where the kids can hold baby chicks, pet horses, and watch sheep being sheared. I should also mention they have great restaurants and wine tasting. This would be a great place to visit for the night with just my hubby.

We had a great visit with perfect weather. This should have been peek time for the leaves changing, but no such luck. Honestly, it worked to our advantage in that it was not too busy. Great place to visit if you have the chance.

Yummy, and very expensive, ice cream.

My seven year old took this, as if you could not tell.

The gardens at the Biltmore are impressive. You could spend a day just visiting them and the walking paths.

Trying to be brave, but he was just too big! Thank goodness for Daddies!

I enjoyed holding these little guys just as much, if not more, than the kids.
