My kids love to play beauty shop, and over the weekend I was their client. I had worked the night before, and honestly, was too tired to care what they were doing and using until . . .
. . . I heard a "Ccccrrrrruuuunnnnccchhhh" of my hair going through the scissors. In my half-awake state, I had not seen my son arm himself with my nail scissors. Apparently, I had a few hairs that were out of place and "needed" a trim. See that "little" patch that's sticking out on the left? The one that tucks nicely behind my ear? Gone. Hacked off.

I just love it when Abbie plays "Beauty Shop" and does my hair! All that brushing and twirling and styling puts me into a nice doze! Note to self: make sure there are no scissors anywhere nearby before nodding off!
They were my "tiny" nail scissors that wander around the house depending on where I discover nails need to be trimmed! Had no idea they were back in the right spot! Surprise! Those things, though small, can really cut some hair!
I love it...you girls loved to play beauty shop but you usually did all this to each other. Somethings just don't change.
