My sister sent me this about ADHD and helping kids develop social skills. Many people are not aware that social skills, or lack there of, are one of the major issues with ADHD. Most of the kids are clueless when it comes to what is appropriate and what is not, and as a result many do not have friends. This is an interesting read!

Thanks for the link, I will go read the article.
Kid L had the habit of putting her hands in people's faces. It took us forever to break that one. Of course, we had no idea it was ADHD related.
The weird noises were her major obstacle. When she was younger, it didn't seem out of place but as her friends matured and she continued to use weird voices/noises she started losing friends.
It was so hard on her. It broke my heart. Now that we know she has ADHD and our working to treat her school and social settings are much better for her. She is able to be herself but be on the same level as her peers.
