These were the words out of David's mouth on Tuesday when he got home from school. I had made it off the couch and was walking. Praise God for small miracles.
I am feeling better and life is "back to normal", at least for the rest of the family. I'm sore and need to take pain medication throughout the day. This ties me to home (wasn't a Kennedy in trouble recently for driving under the influence of meds!??!) but at least it keeps me off the couch! I am amazed at how sore joints can be, and I pray this pain continues to lessen as time goes on.
I have a hideous rash on my hands and feet. I ran into CVS last night to pick up antibiotics (did I mention we also have sick kids!?!?), and I could see the cashier staring at my hands while I fumbled with the credit card machine. I still forget which way to slide. Anyways, between the irritability from the Prednisone and the buzz from the Percocet, I almost turned and went "Arrrrrrrr . . . Bow Wow! Oh man! I don't know about this! Ever since I've gotten this rash I've been having problems. What do you think?" But of course I just grabbed the Zithromax and ran.
Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and concern. Once you're off the couch, you have to get back in the game. Once Mom is no longer horizontal and has open eyes, throw her back in coach! I need to remember to slow down. I need to ask for help. I need to rest. I'm getting tired . . .

OK...I already offered to help! You didn't even have to ask! You just have to give me an answer to "when do you want me to come?"
