Would This Offend You?

I can think of very few things that bother me more than dog poop. Don't ask me why, but when it's in the "wrong" place, it makes me sick to my stomach. My kids tracked it through my house one time, and in the dead of winter, we ventured out at 8:00 PM to get a steam cleaner. The thought of it not being completely removed from the carpet where my baby was crawling was nauseating.

For the past few days, I've noticed that our yard has become one dog's dumping ground. The first time was when I ran over it with the mower. Poop on the wheels, smeared on the grass, caked into the treads of my shoes, etc. Gag. The offender returned the next day and my boys stepped into it. Today, I spotted it again, and it made my blood boil. It's just plain rude at this point. Once, you may have forgotten a bag. Twice, you are getting a little too forgetful. Three times is the charm.

Here is my homemade sign that I hope will get my message across. I even laminated it! There will probably be a pile of poop next to it tomorrow, but at least I'm taking a stand! Any thoughts?

That is so funny because I have seen signs almost exactly like that here in Japan (except written in Japanese of course). Good for you for taking a stand. I hope ot works!

I think if it is your own yard, then it's a perfect sign to have up! Hopefully someone gets the message!

Way to, er, mark your territory, there, Amy. I'd suggest some Christmas lights, so if it happens at night, they can see it. Maybe one of those illuminators imbedded in the lawn shining towards the sign? :-P Let us know if it works!!!

that's not a problem here in the Philippines. most homes, from the humblest to the grandest, are enclosed by fences of all descriptions!

don't know with us Filipinos but we could never seem to contemplate a home here without a fence.
