Sweet Christy

My blogger friend,Christy , gave me this nice little award the other day. Christy is a blogger that I've kept up with for a few years, mostly because of her love for her family and the Lord. The other "tie that binds us together" is the military. Her husband is in the Army, deployed to Iraq for the third time, and therefore I can relate to so many of her feelings. If you haven't visited her blog, I encourage you to do so. She always has a fresh and honest word to share!

So, here are the rules for this lovely, little, award.

1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link.

2) Pass the award to 15 other blogs that you’ve recently discovered. Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

Christy was so good. She posted 15 blogs with a little intro about each one. Well, considering I've got about 15 free minutes, I'm going to list and run. Baby is sleeping, breakfast dishes are still in the sink, we are out of clean clothes, and the clock continues to tick. Honestly, this is the last place I should be.

BUT . . . here I am so onward and upward!

Pam is another military family with four kids. Oh how I can relate!

Val has five children, two who are adopted from China. Even though she hasn't updated her blog in TWO MONTHS, it's still worth the trip over to check her out. Maybe this will inspire her to post more of her great photos and interesting life stories.

CCW shares often about her daughter's ADHD, which is a subject close to my heart. It's often a "funny" story and again, something that I can relate too.

China Mama has become a friend over the years. She has three beautiful daughters from China, and is waiting on number four.

The Carpenter Family have two beautiful children from Ethiopia. It's been a blessing to watch them grow!

Angela and her family recently brought home their daughter from China. She and I go back to my time in Virginia, and it's been awesome to watch God work through our friendship. Wish I had the time to explain it all. It's pretty cool!

Amy and I go back three or four years, when we were adopting our daughters from China. She has another blog too, where she posts about all the yummy things that she makes!

Mike and Kate is a new blog that I have recently started to follow, and enjoy. They have been blessed by adoption, are awaiting another bundle of joy, and cook all sorts of yummy treats.

Jaima is another military wife that I've just started keeping up with.

Sandy is another new blog that I'm following and enjoy.

Amy has three boys and gave me a great idea on how to stay on top of my laundry. I love her for that alone!

I know that I've listed only ten, but I've got to publish and run. The clock is ticking and I haven't even showered yet, which, by the way, I hate to do when things are quiet. Seems like such a waste of precious time.

Anyways, thank you again, Christy, for this little award. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Thanks for the reward! You are so sweet and I love the new(?) header. Is it new or did I just miss something?
