Slings

I'm in need of something to carry this baby in. Not only does he want to be next to me 24/7, but he needs a place of "safety". Putting him down to get things done = manhandling by my other children. Normally I wouldn't care, but after I've nursed for about an hour to get him settled and asleep, it would be nice for him (and me) to have a few moments of peace.

There are so many choices out there, and I'm not up for looking, reviewing, etc. If you have used one and like it, please let me know. I have a Snuggle, but would like something that is a little more "newborn" friendly.

Thanks for your thoughts. I wish I had thought of this sooner!

Amy, Ohhh I wish I could help! I haven't tried any of my many slings with Sasha yet, but my guess is that a pouch would work best and easiest with this age. I have a Hotslings pouch and also the New Native Baby Carrier pouch- I'll give them a try tomorrow and let you know what I think. :)

Now, where is my picture of sweet James? :)

Hugs, Shana

When mine were newborns I really liked the ring slings - like the ones at nestbabysling.com or a non adjustable over the shoulder sling. Even target has some, I just did a search on their site and found a bunch.

Good luck!
