Let me tell you something. This is a great place. We bought a three day "Splash and Play" and went to Splash Country as well as Dollywood. These parks are geared towards families so there is plenty to do for everyone. Great rides for kids as well as adults. We took in a Veggies Tales Live performance as well as a roller coaster that scared me to death! They have great play areas for kids so they have a fun place to wait while you ride the "bigger" rides. If you get the chance, this is a great place for a family vacation!
This is just one of three or four areas for younger kids.
I loved these flower pot people that they had all around the park.
We bought popcorn before hopping on the Dollywood Express for a steam engine ride. Red, white, and blue kettle corn. This place did not overlook one opportunity to show their 4th spirit!

I will admit that I am one of those people who would never have considered Dollywood a destination for our family. However, your posts make it seem like a really nice place to visit.
Great pictures and this park has the right idea for family fun. Clean, pretty,and affordable entertainment geared for the whole family to enjoy. Three cheers for Dolly. Walt Disney could take a lesson from this place.
