Works for Me Wednesday

I love to take pictures with our digital camera. For quite sometime, I was a fan (I still am, but don't have the time) of scrapbooking. I would upload the photos, order them, and make plans to scrapbook when I had a chunk of free time. As my family continues to get busier and busier, a chunk of free time is rather unheard of. So I started to look into other ways to store of photos. It's hard to enjoy them all tucked away, "ready" to be scrapbooked anyday . . . .

I wasn't to sure about the photobook idea so I ordered two, one from Shutterfly and one from Ofoto. I like Shutterfly much more for many reasons, but the bottom line is that their choices far outweigh those of Ofoto. This Clifford one is new and cute for school! Yes, they can be pricey, but I wait until they have a 30% sale and buy then. I can come and go from the photobook as I please. Just hit save and it's put away from little hands. No mess to clean up. The best part is that I can change and rearrange until I've gone through every possible layout known to man. I love to change my mind!

We had a water pipe burst a few years ago, and three of my scrapbooks received damage. I need to redo them, and I just don't know where or how to start. With your photobook, you have it saved in your account so you can always order another at anytime. I really like that reassurance!

Have any of you made one through another company? I'd love to know!

I LOVE THESE!!! I just ordered one, in fact. I've used Snapfish and shutterfly, but Shutterfly has a bazillion options now, so it's definitely my pick. I think it's a tad more expensive, but the time I save, not having to scrapbook! Oh gosh. It's awesome. AND there's a special through October, I think. Free shipping. But maybe I just got that because I've ordered before - I don't know.

Definitely a great WFMW - I have two this week -

Great to hear your experience. My friend and I are taking a trip together in May (mainly to scrapbook) but thought this would be a great way to save the pictures from that trip so we'd each have a book and we can spend our scrapbook time catching up the kids books.

Photoworks does some nice ones, too. I photobook and scrapbook. I'm obsessive like that...

Amy, I have made several photobooks and the best quality one so far is MyPublisher.com

I prefer only one or two photos per page as the ones with more than that tend to get pretty small and can fight each other

Peace out,
