The Next Day . . .

Sunday afternoon we went to an "exotic" petting zoo in Pigeon Forge. There was a large pen of goats, about 50-60, that you could feed and hold. There were even little babies, on display only, that still had drying umbilical cords! They were pretty cute until they started to nibble at everything on us: my necklace, clothes, shoes, zippers and chains on our clothes, etc. I don't know how people have them as pets!

"Come here little goat! Can I hold you?" Jack was very brave!

This little one had a jealous streak. When I would pick up another goat it would head butt me and start to chew on my sandles. "Hey Buddy! Those are my nice Tevas!" The kids, of course, thought this was too funny.

"Don't forget about me up here!" There were other animals to feed as well: deer, horses, zebras, camels, kangaroos, etc. It was a good visit. Don't think we'll go again, but it's worth a one time stop, especially if your kids like animals.
