Our New Pad

Last Thursday, as I was getting in the shower, I begged God to help our home in Michigan sell. I believe my words were "I can't take this anymore! PLEASE let us get rid of this house!" That afternoon we got an offer on our home, and they requested that we make a decision before they left town the next morning. Done. As far as we know, we will be closing on our house in MI in 3 weeks.

With school starting next week, Dave facing deployment, etc., we have decided to rent. We have found a home and should be in next Monday. It's a home from the "art deco" period, and therefore some of the colors are interesting. Any decorating suggestions are welcome! I can hear the wheels starting to turn, Chrissy! She is my best friend who can make anything/anyplace look great!

My hubby is a little excited about the color scheme.

Pink with blue. I could use some help!
I'm excited about the kitchen. So much space!
This was the selling point for me. Across the street we have tennis courts, a pool, and basketball courts. Run kids! RUN!

I feel you pain. I saw my mint, white, and black bathroom color scheme on Miami Vice (they showed the TV pilot to promote the movie). Glad things are moving forward with your move. Just in time for school to start. Your baby is in the first grade!

Its exactly like our master bathroom...what's the problem? I feel like Dave is making fun of our excellent decorative taste:) Krent is truly offended, especially since we are following the decorative style of our hotel room in Beijing. :) :))

Congratulations! I love your kitchen too! If I were you I would just focus on that and figure out the rest later!

Yaaaaayyyyy! You sold the house!!!! So happy for you. Um, not so sure about the pink/blue. Maybe you could shop at a flea market for some of that 80's/90's Home Interior stuff to match?? Sorry. ;o)

BTW, come see what happened yesterday. :o) :o) It's good, very good!
